I began counseling the chemically dependent in the mid 1970s. This quickly branched into counseling the children of the chemically dependent.
- I developed DWI programs, aftercare services, alcohol assessments, relapse programs, and taught drug prevention techniques.
My services branched out from this. Obviously , many issues are brought to light when counseling the chemically dependent. So I developed treatments, and groups for:
- Grief & loss, resentment issues, stress, PTSD/trauma, ADHD, Positive Parenting, Serenity principles, L.O.V.E.
Increasingly, I found myself dealing with abuse: physical, emotional, mental, & spiritual. I developed treatments, and groups for:
- Adult children of abuse, victims of domestic abuse, incest, emotional abuse, & spiritual abuse
One of the results of these issues was the treatment of:
- the resulting shame, marriage troubles, codependency, anger reduction, & Theophostic healing
My experience is that I can often help people move through their stress, pain, and grief into maturity. These are very trying times, and often people need some help to deal with life, in general.
The best place to start is with the truth.
